This sliver takes place in an alternate past, at the moment that the Eth High Priest Arakhurn and his acolytes first opened the Planar Gate at Passage of the Ancients. In this timeline there was an unforseen complication... forces of The Wanton had sabotaged the Planar Gate and, instead of opening to the Earth Plane of the Titans it opened on the Plane of Fire.

The Ethians are consumed by the flames and High Priest Arakhurn is transformed and reborn as the Phoenix!

The portal into this instance is in the very west of Stonefield, at the mouth of the path into The Last Valley. Of course, Omen Sight or Quantum Sight is required to lead your raid into, or even see, the portal.

Passage of the Ancients

Three waves of mobs will emerge from the Planar Gate before Ereandorn.

1. 2 Flaming Tricksters and 4 Growing Flames
2. 2 Ravenous Flames and 4 Flaming Tricksters
3. 2 Fire Wings (see notes on mob page)

• Ereandorn

After the fight, 4 Phoenix-Born spawn behind you at the bottom of the rise.

The Last Valley

Trash mobs here can Enrage. All 52 Epic trash (this list is NOT exhaustive):

• Wanton Saboteur, Wanton Nullifier, Scorched Whelp
• Phoenix-Born Riftblade, Phoenix-Born Pyromancer, Phoenix-Born Nightblade
• Born of Fire
• Cinder Drake
• Seething Core

Right in front of Beruhast is a Phoenix-Born Riftblade, 2 Born of Fires, and 4 Blackened Souls. All seven will come together. Use two tanks and separate the Blackened Souls while DPS downs the first three in the order named.

• Beruhast - above the fortress gate

Rescue the five Bahmi Priests from the cages along the way. They will be needed for the next boss as each can save you from one Incinerate. However, there is an achievement for downing the next boss without them!

• General Silgen - at the top of the rise clockwise from the fortress

• High Priest Arakhurn - above the lava pit
