Finally got off my lazy ass and got an xp group on SCH, dinged 85, got all appropriate spells, and dinged into Savant's Chain and Savant's Pants +1

Got atma of the beyond finished windy missions and got that atma too. Also completed varuna's staff +1 and did 3.1k to a orobon w/ bliz IV( I want bliz V!!!!)

I was actually thinking on soloing the NM, but seriously, soloing that thing, with no guaranteed grellow wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I guess each solo would take 30+ mins, and I'd get less than one seal on average so...

Lucky enough, I joined a group doing the NM for plates, and got them all in one day. Now on to the +2 items!!

Yea, I'm 2 seals away from Savant's Gown +1, just need to get off my lazy butt and do Ironclad a couple more times. Literae is mostly a throw-away, anyways. That, and it looks kinda cool.

Dinged 75 for the first time! I don't care if it's not the level cap anymore, 75 always seemed unattainable back when I used to play in 2005 ^^ Also clocked up 5 merit points, so I've got enough to do my G6 cap now. So hopefully, soon to be a level 80 Scholar, then to track down some Kindred Crests.

Thank you, I appreciate that ^^ My biggest concern now is how to get my foot into the door in Abyssea when I came so late to the party. I have no Lunar Abyssite and virtually no Atma >.< Need to find someone doing a zone boss so I can at least get my first Lunar, then try to track down Minikin. That should keep me going for a while ^^

I've been leveling WHM in parallel to SCH to assist with that to some degree. There's this trivial little spell called Cure V that seems to attract white mages to Abyssea parties ^^ My thoughts are get my initial Lunars (and whatever the time extension and stone charge reduction ones are), track down Minikin for my Atma, and at that point I'll be able to stand on my own feet for a bit, at least enough to start doing XP parties.

I've got time enough though, I unlocked Aby as soon as I got the expansions but have barely spent any time in there. I've got something to the tune of 60 stones sitting available at the moment (realise the appropriate Abyssite will increase that count), which is 30 hours of time, so it's not a major concern right now.

Finally got into my first Abyssea party last night (been putting it off continually due to my lack of Atma and Abyssite), a La Theine worm party. Understand now why people like Abyssea so much! 3 hours or so in there and I'm now level 82 (up from 78 at the beginning of the evening) and have broken both my 80 and 85 limit breaks.

I'll be heading back in tonight with the goal of getting to 90 ^^ Then it's off to start storyline content!
