Linkshell WoesFollow

I'm looking for a good linkshell with mature people (above 21 if possible, no homophobic teenagers). I'd prefer if the linkshell were also filled with people that have at least a job level of 40 or so (no newbies). The linkshell that I have is just filled with random people and is just a chat room with no events or purpose. I'm looking for an event/support linkshell and/or a crafting linkshell. Does anyone have a good solid linkshell that they need a good lvl 50 RDM Rank5? I'm also an alchemest and a cook, looking for a tradeskill linkshell.

Please don't find this offensive or anything. But you shouldn't use level or rank to gauge a players experience. I've seen players level 50+ that act like noobs. Also, a persons maturity usually does coincide with age, but not in every case. There are some immature people ages 21+, and some mature people under 21. You need to use your own judgement on everyone to see if they are experienced and mature players, can't only rely on numbers and figures.

ya sogoro the leader of the ls (we were pting together) said "i like how you play" thats a plus ^^. then "would you like to join our ls?"

im like sure why not so the next fight i get a /tell with a *** a** question about something retarded like "if the village was burning would you save the king or the people?" and then i answered (i said ppl ^^) and he asked me another and then another until he finally gave me a pearl and i dropped it after i left to go help my TRUE ls mates.

my friends list is all the linkshell i need ;)

I agree with this. I started my own ls just so I had a shell next to my head ;p, but my friendlist is where I talk to people I know I can trust and that I respect.

I love my linkshell. Yar....

However, I'm not the leader, nor a pearlsack holder, so I can't speak for adding new players.

Also, I somewhat object to the generalization that below level 40=newb.

I'm level 20. HOWEVER, I could easily be level 40 is I wanted to, instead, I decided to craft and quest. So I'm a skilled crafter with an excellect cash flow, and I constantly read up on the game so I'm able to help upper level people with questions.

I'm a crafting guru, and a leveling non-newbie, but not necessarily super knowledgeable.

I know, I know, there are exceptions, but I felt like getting on my soapbox. ^^

I hope you find a good linkshell. My advice would be to just help other people...that's how I got invited into mine.

If you show me {skill} at lower levels, and take advise from other experienced players and such, your not a noob in my books. Below level 40=noobs? I go with 50.. unless you prove to me your not one or you prove to me you are a noob lv50+. lv50 is the first "wall" because some people actually smarten up a bit with the exp spike. Then 58-60ish is the big "wall", you don't get invites unless you are good. If theres a pt that needs a tank, and theres one lfg but sucks, they keep looking for another person as long as it takes.. people get very picky with invites.

dude i have come to the conclusion it is impossible to find the perfect linkshell. it might look all nice and accomodating on the outside, but when that many people and ego's collide in one text window... lets just say it dulls and lessens the game experience tremendously. if it was up to me i wouldn't be in one, but if you're not in an organized successful one, no matter how much ******** you have to put up with.. sadly it's the only way you'll get anywhere in the game.

good luck finding the one for you.
