Getting into an MMO right at the beginning , or preferably before is by far my most enjoyable gaming expirience. Doing stuff before anybody knows whats going on gives a great sense of adventure.
This game looks like itll be pretty polished on release.

Hi, i am a player from wow and for much that i want to change of game i had never! becouse for the most part the games i play, they never are so good like wow, and this game looks different from the others. I wanna try to know if is as or more good than wow.. I tired from the games that just wanna copy the same structure of wow, i want something diferent and good!

If you give me a VIP beta it will nice!

Begging for a key won't really get you anywhere. If you sincerely want a VIP key the best thing I can recommend is to stay active on the forums and keep an eye on the Rift site as they're still handing out beta keys via facebook as well.

Good luck to those still in need. <3 If you actually try, you'll find it works far better than just posting saying "give me one" or "i want one!". And nobody needs anything. My husband and I wanted to test Rift together, but he hasn't put in one iota of effort to get a key on his own. Am I going around proclaiming he should get one just because we want to play together? No.

Sorry if that sounds rather harsh, but I've seen a LOT of comments lately both here and on the official Rift site about people "desperately needing" VIP keys.

DAoC - Irrenoen, 50, Bard

Honestly I haven't really heard of ZAM till now, and I must say I am starting to love the community here, it's alot more mature, less QQ and there's constructive threads that actually have REAL discussions going on. I will definitely be hanging out here for a while.

That said, yeah i definitely would love to get a VIP beta key to try the game out for myself. Theres so much reading and watching videos can do.

I have been following this game for several months now and I would love to have a VIP beta key. I have been beta testing games for years now and I really enjoy the process of helping to make a game better. Rift looks like it has some real potential and I would love to help out and, of course, get to take a peek. :)

I just finished the first Beta and found the game interesting to play.

Without giving up the important stuff about the game, I found the control configurations to be somewhat confusing, after having done the Beta on STO, Vanguard, Lineage II and a couple others. I have gotten used to the configuration on EQ, EQII, WoW, LOTRO and Runes of Magic; all of which have near to the same control configurations and are noticeably different from Rift.

However the game is fun to play. I got a grin from some of the references in some of the quest titles and story lines.

Overall, I enjoyed it, even though there were some technical flaws, but in Beta, the idea is to find as many of the flaws so as to get them corrected before release.

I am hoping to get a beta invite for the next round.

To tell the truth, I don't know much about the game Rift, but of course like any other gamer I am interested in kicking the tires and takin' her out for a spin. I just signed up today and Zam looks like a great place to keep up on all the best games. So happy to be here and looking forward to using all the forums and resources you guy make available.

Can't wait for the next event and hoping hubby can get in on this one with me. I have enjoyed being able to give input thus far about the game. I don't have experience with tons of MMOs like a lot of folks do, so I'm sure I am approacing my feedback from a totally different angle than those folks are. Being able to bring in new folks is always a good thing though, so hopefully some of the feedback I send in that I think would make that easier will be of help. I know that my husband and I very much enjoy playing our current MMO together, so if I can help in any small way with things that might entice other spouses to join in on the fun, that's awesome. I mean, what better way to avoid the "wife aggro" from being glued to the game than to have her glued there with you?

I got a normal key for beta so was in the first phase of testing, the game is awesome so would really like a VIP key to make sure that I get into all the other phases. I am so glad that ZAM is aboard for this game as well, as I am always using ZAm for my other two games that I play namely EQ2 and LOTRO, and have always found ZAM to be the best as far as info goes than any of the other sites. Here's hoping

Would love to have a VIP key so I can stop the beta key shuffle after each round.

As for my MMO involvement. I first got involved round about the time of EQ1 LDoN. I was destroyed from then on for any linear based game. Wow, what freedom ... don't want to do that ... fine don't don't do it lol.

I then went on to EQ2 where I pretty much have found a home. Along the way I have beta tested or played just about all the other ones. WoW, AoC, WH, GW ....

Like I said I cannot play linear do this to get here so you can do this to advance the game anymore.

Pretty awesome to see all the interest in a new game. I really hope they have content for levels 20+ in place. Nothing like getting into a beta, helping create a better game with feedback and bug reports to find out that after the started areas there is nothing to do but grind away. Friends are not amused if you have talked them into trying a game when this is the case. Or a guild. Not amused at all.

The V.I.P. key hype is a pretty cool marketing angle if nothing else.

I think their marketing idea is great since they are using what so many internet gamers are using, Facebook, Twitter, Zam and other sites. ^keep it up, the more the merrier.

Also, the RIFTIRC is pretty awesome that they take time out to actually answer questions from gamers.

Subjective keys is good and bad, good that you can't automate it, unless of course you have a bot poster :) Bad that sometimes someone will feel they were active enough and still not be awarded. The good thing is at least it's getting some activity and discussions going here, which is always a good thing right? :)

This is very smart and clever indeed, and i like you guys for it, i've noticed that people starts to take up rift in other certain forums aswell, and its almost like free adds on the site, the more people that speak of it the better.

Although i also created an account here, in order to get a VIP. I was one of the lucky once who got to play sunday evening just before they closed the servers again, and i was rather impressed.

Although that is also why i am annoyed i did not get to test the game to its prober, or find any "glitches" those that were ;) and would love to get a second chance at this.

So now i will try it this way, after spending hours farming for a key ;)
Former player of alot of mmo's - although, Dark age of camelot will always be in my hearth ;) <3

Awesome contest! :)

I've been an avid MMO Player since the launch of EQ1. I played that for 5 years before moving over to EQ2 at it's launch. I have dabbled in other games through the years as well like Drakkar, DAOC, and Aion just to name a few. :) I still play EQ2, though I have been looking for a new home for my MMO life for the past year, but just haven't found anything that has held my attention or intrigued me enough to truly leave... well until I stumbled upon Rifts. Since the first video I watched I have been hooked and since been trying to get a VIP key lol. What is rather funny is I have been able to get a couple handfuls of people interested in Rifts as well, and they have all been able to score VIP keys... yet I have not lol. Oh well, I figure there is always plenty of time! :)

Regardless if I get a VIP key or not I am really looking forward to Rifts, I think its going to add another demention to MMO's and I can't wait to be part of it :)

game definitely has exciting elements. the class system looks genuinely awesome, and we can reasonably hope that Trion has learned from the mistakes of their peers (we all know those disappointments of recent years)..

ive signed up for every beta since i found out about the game. a VIP key would be delicious :D

I was in Beta 1. I have a guild playing in RIFT. Exultant. I am looking for a VIP key in order to keep playing with them in Beta testing for RIFT. I may do the postings, but I do contribute by collaborating over voice chat with the members who do the postings. Been an avid gamer for a decade. Have participated in many betas. Looking for the golden eagle to '#&*' a VIP key down from the sky!

I've been following this game since it was called Heroes of Telara, and was lucky enough to be in first closed beta.

I'm an experienced gamer and beta tester, with a different perspective due to advanced age (54) and the fact that I'm female to boot. Oh, and from the UK (a Scot, no less).

What more can I say? I'm not great at being witty on paper, unfortunately (my son would probably add, not so hot irl either), so how about a bit of pathos? It's December, cold and gloomy, the recession bites deeper and my depression hangs over me like a dark cloud. The only ray of sunshine I can imagine is the one in the shape of a VIP key for Rift.

roflmao ^^

Like previous posters, I think it's absurd to post saying "gotta have", "need this key", "gimme, gimme, gimme" or any other variation, but at the same time it's rather humbling to realise how this simple strategy by Trion (make they keys difficult to get) does seem to stimulate something in the old brain. I'd like to think I'm above it all, but here I am posting and hoping, so what can I say?

If I am given a key I will make sure to give feedback at least once a day stating that the ZAM logo is not plastered across enough walls.
