I'm a professional healer for a long time in Everkvest 2 inquisitor and defiler.
with a huge looking forward to August lekarskih classes in the Rift.
most interested me WARDEN and JUSTICAR
and who are more attracted to the classes? How do you think most doctors would be needed in the raid

Fro this game I'm thinking variety will be better. This is simply because each one of the classes will have a unique set of buffs for its soul tree, hopefully all buffs are stackable and it can lead to some crazy massive number of buffs for raiders and pvpers.

/agree with kinsume, variety is the spice of life, lol. Each class with have something special and unique to that class that would be beneficial to any group/raid/guild. Some will be more desirous than others, depending on each situation or instance or mob. Most games I usually have more than one healer, so I can adjust depending on the situation. You will probably have to experiment some to see what is a good fit for you. Along with being needed, you also need to "like" the class you are playing or you probably won't be good at it.

Hello guys. I could say that healers (or doctors call them whateva')will be needed in a number of 2 for each party when raiding and pvp-ing, at least. Picking a healer it's always good if you like to be needed(and you will). Picking a healer will always bring a complicated yet more complex gameplay. Given the fact you are a profesional with the likes of healing I could say go for it as they are never enough when you need them. :)

My main character in the current game I play is a healer. I am looking forward to trying a Cleric or two in this game, along with a few others, of course. I am very excited to really get a look at the soul system in this game. It will be so much fun to try different soul trees out to choose spells that fit how you plan to play your character in the game & really maximize your abilities as a healer. I am eager to see how much each class relies on other classes in a group effort. I am sure there will be more balance to certain groups than there are with others. Either way, as for other classes, healers are very valuable in many cases.

I like the sound of the Sentinel as i tend to try and play in groups as i feel its a lot more fun then going solo and sentinel sounds like it does the best group heals will also be looking at getting a direct heal though with a bit more heal power than the multi heals.

Good to see more people interested in becoming healers. The main reason I don't roll dps classes anymore is simply because I hate waiting for a tank and a healer in order to do a dungeon. Sure if you're like 10 levels over the dungeon's level then you can zerg it with a dps party, however we won't have that during the betas as well as when the game releases for a while.

Personally I'm interested in the Purifier... Debuff removal will likely help many survive otherwise deadly fights and I'd rather be able to dish out some offense as well as the obvious roles of the healer.

The Justicar has got me sold. I like the fact of improving your healing spells by melee combat. Makes for a healer to be more useful in a group. That mixed with a sentinel seems to be a good combo.

The best thing about healers in Rift is that they don't fall into the "Stand back and bomb away with your biggest heal" category. Most of the healing classes encourage you to jump into the fray and mix it up with the bad guys. Which is good because it will entice more people into healing, as someone already mentioned.

I like being both the front line healer, standing shoulder to shoulder with the tanks and dps and the back line, need to be protected healer. I am hoping with all the choices I can get the best of both worlds. I haven't decided exactly what my "main three" will be yet, since seeing it on paper versus playing it are often two entirely different beasts.
