I am going to have a paragon character for sure. hoping there is the feature for having more than one character to an account. I tend to like a little variety in my gameplay and a paragon warrior is just the ticket. I love a all around charcter that has mobility and consistant damage dealing along with good defense. a paragon soul also has some ranged ability which is attractive.

A dual bladed warrior with a bow on the offhand, sounds like a hunter but reversed in the sense that his melee attacks will do more than ranges. Whereas a hunter's ranges does more than melee. Seems pretty boring to me.

I was thinking I like this class as well. This is a warrior soul, so I imagine that their parry and defense will be incorporated heavily in some of their dual handed wielding. It looks like a dps tank, that can use ranged to pull or split a group. And to be honest, I am not much for the tank role, but the paragon actually has me interested in that calling. Come to think of it, there is at least one class that has me interested in each of the four archetypes. I think that is how Trion will keep its playerbase. If everyone is eager to play their alts, and then you can change up that character to fit the situation, I see nothing but good things and mounds of time being poured into this game.

I also think the Paragon will be interesting to play, but only in PvE. I expect they will be less viable in PvP because of the steady damage, instead of burst, as first player to XXX damages wins the PVP fight.

The idea of steady damage leads me to believe that they may have abilities to damage every MOB type out there, meaning they can damage fire as well as water, earth, etc MOBS. Anyone else get that feeling from the brief description?
We tend to become like the worst in those we oppose.

Alot of people like the dual weilding class builds, personally I see warriors as huge brute characters with two handed weapons xD

I played the paragon a bit in the first beta event and had a blast. The description on the rift site makes him sound boring as can be but that doesn't do him justice at all. I'm pretty sure I'm going to roll cleric for release but my first alt will most likely be this guy.
