Most of the posting seems to have been done by people who only wanted a VIP key. Once they get the key they never come back. Most everyone else I imagine is still at work.

Makes sense to me, I happened upon Zam only today while reading up on Rift.
But seems like a great place so far. Only time will tell. =)

Well, have to admit i came to the site when i heared about the VIP thingy, tho, i already had an account, i had simply forgotten about this site, it's been bookmarked!

On another note, is there any way to se when one's account was created?

I'm just bored =p So I'm just kind of reading and posting. My version of a conversation when everyone in the house is asleep lol ;)

And DAoC.. by far one of my favorite games of all time, only shadowed to me by UO.

UO only wins to me because I absolutely, positively, love taming.

Most definitely DAoC was by far my best MMO experience.

Was it not for EA, I'd still be playing it now honestly.

I don't like the official forums...makes my eyes bleed. I've always enjoyed the zam forums, they always have a nice layout and color scheme.

Plus I try to avoid official forums of any game on principle.

Same official forums all turn into a trollfest.

QFT.

Typically it is just a bunch of people bashing each other over their PoV.
Gets old quickly, like the WoW forums.

Yeah I'm hoping that at a minimum my brother gets in so I can at least see it getting played, lol.

He has some sort of beta key, but I guess they pick them at random?

You can get those beta keys from a lot of different gaming sites. It's not a guarantee that you'll get into the beta but, as I understand it, it helps.

No worries, I have come to liven things up in attempt to get a VIP key....ugh, I mean, contribute to the community and spread the word.

It will really be quiet when the beta opens...then you'll see no1 for the next 3 days.

Too much banter on the official forums. The main problem right now is there isn't much other than spam to post right now. Wait till the NDA is lifted. (Hint, it's gonna be a while)

Some people are apprehensive about ZAM, some don't even know about the Rift section, and some just, like mentioned above, posted to get their VIP keys, as some people were bragging about it.

I'll avoid posting here because of the NDA, I get so excited about stuff sometimes that it gets hard to hold in, but feedback and all of that is easy to give because of it...haha!

^^^^

This is my problem to. I'm afraid if I really start posting much I'm going to slip into NDA territory quickly.

If the NDA is evil, wouldn't "going to the dark side" be obeying the NDA?
