As some of you people should know there seems to be a problem with the preformance. People seem to be complaining about lag or problems with combat. I myself havent had those kind of problems yet, but may have them. If there are other complaints that go along with the preformance you can comment below. I'm sure rift will beable to fix these problems especially considering it's only beta. If you want to fix some of these problems i think you can adjust the graphics a bit to make your preformance the best it can be. It also could be the computer you are using that may not have the best preformance. Plz feal free to comment below

I believe I had an issue with performance, this is being based of I'm running a Quad Core which should handle a lot of data fine, and I also have an ATI 5770, however while running the game at max settings i do have low frames at rifts and things like this. Then again this might be normal, as in Aion when there were several hundred people at forts, well your computer took a dump anyway if you didn't hide all character models

My rig handles the game very well and I'm only running a 250GTS in it. Other specs include an i7 and 6 gigs of mem. I will note however, that I do get graphic glitches after running past the 30min mark that I don't get from any other game. Things to note are tearing, artifacting and blocking.

I have a 3 year old system and it plays smooth just not the fps I was hoping for. I don't play at max settings or anything but I get around 30-40fps on a Core 2 Duo 3ghz, 4gb ram and an ATI4850. I will say that I don't experience any lag with combat as you suggested, everything on their end is silky smooth which is very impressive for a beta or even a launch for that matter. I'm guessing though that the problems people are having are dx9 related and Trion has plenty of time to address those.

I also imagine they have an extra amount of monitoring processes running during beta to catch as much as they can which can slow things down as well.
