What did everyone get for Christmas? I got some pretty snazzy gifts - among them a kindle and a new awesome coffee maker. (I'm a bit of a coffee snob)

What about you?

My wife gave me an awesome gift. Several years back (roughly 12) I was in a band called Flesh is Fiction and we cut an album while we were living in Los Angeles. We toured around for a few years before finally calling it quits due to some indifferences amongst us (typical stuff). Anyway, my wife took one of my CDs that I had left and had it, the album/CD cover and one of our tickets to the Roxy on Sunset Blvd from the night of our CD release party put together in a very professional matted frame, etc. It was a very personable gift and totally a surprise. It now hangs on the wall of my studio forever enshrined to remind me of a very unique and incredible experience in my life. Along with that, I got the usual clothes, etc which I'm always happy to get. For my wife, I bought her clothes and a new iPhone 4 as she needed a new phone very very badly. She was still using an old phone that barely even had a colored screen ha ha. All in all, Christmas was great this year. The best part was just spending time with friends and family and not having to worry about my business or any of the other stressful things that surrounds us year round.

Anyway, Happy New Years to everyone and I hope 2011 is a great one for us all!
