New to the forum and to this game, I was wondering will there be a system in place in which you can change souls at max level should your priorities change, for instance after tanking for a long time and you fancy smashing skulls instead of getting yours smashed in can you swap the souls you have already picked to other souls to better suit this ?

Sorry if this question has already been asked i couldn't seem to find it on the forums.

Yes, the character system is already allowing this during the beta. You are allowed to maintain up to 4 completely different soul combinations (called roles), each with a unique soul tree point arrangement. Not only that, but you are able to acquire ALL (currently 8) souls that belong to your calling and choose from any of them for any of your roles. Currently respec'ing any of the roles is completely free for testing, and the additional souls beyond your first 3 are acquired immediately. Later I assume respec'ing will cost gold and the each soul beyond your basic 3 is going to to require the completion of a quest.

You can change roles within a few second via a hotkey anywhere, except during combat.

Could you explain how??

I've heard this is possible but no quite sure how? Lets say I make a Pally/VK/Reaver. I play to lvl 15 but decide I want to get rid of VK and try a Champion instead. Is there a wat to keep my Lvl 15 Pally but change the VK soul to a Champion? I see you can go to a trainer to change something for 30 gold but not sure what it is you can change. I tried and it looks like you can go to a new set of souls but to me it looks like you can just change the ones you have and make one more dominant / or your main. So from what I see you would have to start a new character to do what I want???

You have two options at a trainer.

Reset your current build or Get new Role

Reset does what you would expect it to do and starts your current role from zero

Get new role...It gives you a whole new build to work with.So you can have one build
that is your pve role..then you can have a dps build

To switch between the two "n" for the soul screen then at the bottom it says
rolls. You can switch out of combat to whichever roll you have set-up

From wondering around the main city, I found a quest giver that would allow my to train as an inquisitor (I started with druid/shaman/justicar). I can assume that there are other quests that allow you to collect the rest of the 4 souls, however I cannot locate those quest givers. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be appreciated.

You can have all your souls of your calling. You take the specific quest from a NPCs in the main city. The quest involves to get an item from a rift. If you have 1 of those quest active, you can not get another soul quest. Finish your current soul quest and the others will light up. Rinse and repeat till you have all the souls.

It's even easier than you think. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO BUY A 2ND ROLE!

When your talent points are can swap out any soul you have acquired. So, if you go to level 15 and you aren't happy and you want to change one out... save your 30g (which is not much but it is at level 15), pay to reset your talents for 1g, and then swap out the souls for the one's you want. Once you've spend points and saved it... you Soul selections are set in stone until you reset it again.

In Beta the Role prices were 30g, then ~5plantinum, and I didn't even bother to see what the last one would costs. While talent resets were 1g, 5g, 8g, etc... it was much cheaper to test this way to find the 'right' build.

Make sure you have acquired them first. After you first 3, you need to visit Sanctum or the Defaint equivalent and pick up the quests for the other at a time.

However, as mentioned- it is very useful to purchase a 2nd Role for PVP and/or if you have an instance build... healer/tank etc.
