If you haven't tried out Rift yet, Trion Worlds is giving everyone the opportunity to dive into Telara before the game launches on March 1. The team just announced that it will be hosting a six-day open beta event from Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. PST to Monday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m.

No beta keys are necessary to participate in the "Telara the Merciless" open beta event. All you need to do is sign up on the official site for a guaranteed spot in the event. That's it!

The open beta event will bump the level cap up to 42 and give players access to three PvP warfronts and several zones and dungeons to explore. The event leads into the head start period, which begins on Feb. 24 for players who pre-order the game!

Trion Worlds is also giving away some prizes during the open beta. Defeat any dungeon boss and you could be eligible to win an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 video card! In addition, in-game prize packs will be given away to 10 select players who complete the objective.

This should be stickied until the end of the beta imo, even though we already have too many stickies here :P.

Ya, this information has been plastered all over but people are still out trying to hunt down keys and inquiring about when they should expect their invite. Might be good to keep this guy prominent.

Bring out the mouthbreathers and windowlickers! I'm not touching any of my characters that are below level 20 during this. /leave 4

Can't wait for the 15th!

Although, I think I'll be going on Rift pretty casually through the OB... I want the pre-release to still feel fresh, and don't want to burn myself out early. Plus Marvel vs Capcom 3 comes out on the 15th, and I love me some MvC!
