TENEBRARUM—PVP Defiant Guild on Deepstrike—is RecruitingFollow

In a sentence, we are a mature semi-hardcore PVP guild.

To expand a little, we believe in respecting your fellow guildmates; having fun (i.e., trashtalking the "other" guys but not trolling); leaving your drama at the door; getting raids and PvP done effectively; communicating succinctly; studying ourselves and our opponents to learn how to better play; but above all enjoying the game.

If you'd like a more detailed view of the guild, check out the "About Us" section of our website. We've worked hard on our website and we're proud of it, so we want you to explore it. Not read about us here. :)

We haven't chosen a server yet.
We'll be rolling Defiant.

Not bad with images, so much as they don't want people spamming their boards with 'em.

Good luck with your guild.

lol @ you coming in and dissing the forums. Only premium members can post images, and html coding does not work because the coders here are actually good at their job.

Ohh, bad start.

It wasn't my intention to diss the forum. Humble apologies.

I just don't understand why they have the bbcode link at the top if they don't work unless you're a "premium member". It doesn't exactly say come use ZAM as your primary forum is all. :) It's just frustrating when we spend literally hours designing graphic art to promote our guild when some forums don't allow the use of them.

So yeah. We're laid back and still recruiting. :)

We've been rocking some great numbers and wins/loss ratios in warfronts lately. Get in on this. :D

My thanks to ZAM for an great forums. While I at first didn't understand why ZAM requires users to be "premium" to post images, the forums certainly have excellent search engine optimization. Props!

Many thanks to ZAM!

Searching Google for:
"Defiant Guild PVP Rift"

...returns this thread as the number 2 result. Thanks ZAM!

OBSIDEON!!!

Well first, I'm here. <3

Second, very active warfronts (scenarios), which you can use to level exclusively. Although it isn't quite as fast as farming dungeons, it yields decent gear and is uber fun. Currently there are four warfronts. You get a new one added to the rotation every 10 levels. They all have different objectives. In order from lowest to highest you have (i) flag-based king of the hill, (ii) territories, (iii) capture the flag, and (iv) NPC assassination. They are all good times. :D

Third, lots of world PVP, although there is no RvR (well, no forts yet atm). D: Nonetheless, the world has a very active PvP environment, ripe for ganking and large scale PVP.

Fourth, the class system is freaking amazing. There aren't dual classes per se. You basically mix and match your class however you want. It's freaking amazing. So, you get this class for CC, that class for fire dps, and that class for off heals to create a huge dps class with splash healing and the ability for basic CC. It's amazing and any game after rift will seem bland if they use the standard class system.

Fifth, great graphics. They are realistic, not "kiddie" like Aion. It also isn't over the top like Aion with regards to gear. Very basic gear.

Sixth, rifts are basically PQs (albeit simple ones) from Warhammer.

Seventh, if you are a human male, when you dance, you look like Carlton from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. (Carlton: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKlxjbhB9HE; Rift Human@10s: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gi4AWgf_Bog)

8th, the world is pretty **** big, and the whole thing is PvP friendly.

9th, lots of dungeons.

10th, I'm here (worth noting twice).

11th, sorcs can stack their AoEs like old school pit of shades pwnage from warhammer!

12th, lots of character customization of the face (can't do much to the bodies).

13th, lots of hidden quests and easter eggs for fun that actually give cool gear to do them.

14th, collections like in EQ2.

15th, a well played sorc is OP. (mwahahaha)

... so, ready to buy it yet? <3

I roll a cute-as-a-button dwarf warrior during the last weekend of beta. She's chubby, but there's nothing I can do about it. It's all good though - as she carries her weight well. I get her to level 9 or 10 and get a gear upgrade. Her new gear is a fembot outfit. It was a skimpy little armored bra and mini-skirt. NOT the type of thing chubby girls should be wearing.

Think I'm gonna get the game and roll toons on a couple different servers. I went to dark denizens but can't seem to log in. It's quite possible I never got the proper user name paired with the proper password...but I tried um all. Did you reset stuff (do I need to make a new account)?

Ohh, sorry hon! D: We wiped the forums. Let me rephrase, I screwed up and deleted the old ones. So, we redid them from scratch. It's also set up now so that we have to create accounts so bots quit creating accounts.

PM your email, and I'll set you up an account. You'll get an email with your username telling you your account was created. Then you just reset password like you'd lost it to set the pw. ... and then you're golden.
