Would you use a Guild Recruitment/General Guild Discussion forum?
Yes! It's easier to use if it's all in one place. :42 (95.5%)
No. Keep it in the General Forum:2 (4.5%)
Total:44

Will keep this up until Friday and go from there. Let us know what you think! Smiley: grin

General forums are getting all bunged up with guild recruitment threads. I would think that something like four sub-forums (Defiant PvE, Guardian PvE, Defiant PvP, Guardian PvP) just to make recruitment threads easier to sort through might be good, but even just one recruitment forum seems like it would be an asset.

Yeah ... I stopped looking at them a coupe days ago. Too time intensive searching for guilds the way it is at the moment.

hah im the only one who voted no. I predict that after launch it will all die down, and that even if there was a guild recruitment forum people would still post it in the general forum.

Also voted no. Part of it is just newness, another a mix of people thinking they'll be the next big and great thing only to crash and burn. At best, I'd just say make a forum for each faction. From there, if someone wants to make a post about it, they should try to precede it with the server name.

This.

Although I can definitely appreciate the idea of moving them off to another forum, so we don't have 15 different guild recruitment threads spamming bumps constantly during launch.

I would actually like to advertise my guild, but honestly would feel bad cluttering up the General discussion area.

The reasons I think a separate section would be nice, is because eventually all the guild topics will be pushed to later pages (no longer seen). Since most don't get replies, and are just an advertisement of sorts, it would be more beneficial to those posting it to have a section where their can be seen most of the time.

What's the harm in putting it there, and if it truly does die down/see no activity, removing it?

Yea a sep forum for recruiting. But should be broken down further by server to reduce cluster and easier searching for those who are looking.
