Chloromancers in pvpFollow

Rock. Right now I'm still low enough that "getting away" is a problem when I've got a lot of focus on me. The first few matches I tried were horrible as I tried to gain an understanding of what the **** I was doing, but once I got a grip on it, it was beyond a blast. It's great for pvp because you only have one "target a person and heal them" spell, so instead of playing whack a mole (which, as a long time WoW healer, I'll admit, I enjoy), you just throw out these incredible group heals all the time. After I really got an idea of how to use my abilities, I topped healing every time, and had damage pretty high (since chloromancers essentially turn damage into healing). A few matches I even topped damage AND healing. Definately fun. For those that can never decide if they want to heal or dps, I'd recommend chloromancer for awesome times. Though I think souls should be creatively mixed at the discretion of the player, I will note that archon plays very well with chloromancer, and picking up dominator just for the transmogrify (no points) can be very helpful. Because mana regen can be an issue for chloromancers, take archon at least as far as leeching flames. Seriously mages, try it out, it's loads of fun and you'll feel useful as a dpser and healer with minimal effort!

Chloro PvP is fun. My problem is if you decide to pug the WF its hard to find somebody worthy of getting your primary heals. at least in BG you can just slap it on the fang carrier when your team has it.

Ive sent people tells before a match started that i would be linking up them and healbotting them. Ill pick a guy from the higher end for the bracket and usually a warrior. Then they go on to be incredible retards in the match and are a total waste of my healing.

eta: <30 leveling with chloro/lock/elem is amazing.

I've tried chloro healing in a BG a couple of times, for me the experience was not so fun.
could be i was unlucky with my pug's, but people scattered all over the place, and when i finally got going with healing, i was instantly targeted by the other team.

@Kturner: Can you link your build? im currently lvl'ing a pyro/ele/lock, but your build sounds a little more apealing since mine is like 0 survivability if your pet dies.

Really gets good when you get 3/3 natural fusion

after 30 though i think my leveling build will probably have to go Necro/lock so i can have an up to date pet.

I've read a couple other posts and I wanted to put a little input in on pvp chloros.
I would suggest getting enough rep to get archmage. Break free and Detaunt are fantastic in pvp. Not to mention the increased spell damage on players and the reduction of crit as well.

My main pvp build is lock, chloro, archmage.
Which can be seen here:

I played around with it until I created one with enough survivability, damage, and healing to get me through bgs.

Throwing up dots from the lock tree & chloro tree will keep you alive through the most beastly of warriors.. which I have found to be my greatest enemy ;).
