So you're on the right track with the pet soul (Ranger), but you might want to consider altering the way you're assigning soul points.
You seem to have gone for a "little of everything" approach, and that's not really ideal. Normally you want to be putting the max number of points in a given ability before moving on to the next one (unless the next one is just SO amazing that you have to have it as soon as you can get it)
Also, and this is just personal preference so feel free to ignore it, I like keeping the maximum number of points in my primary soul and only branching out into my support souls on those levels where I'm getting 2 soul points. I continue doing this until I've spent all I want to in my main soul and then I'll start investing heavily in the support souls
So this would probably be my build at your level: Ranger (21)/Marksmen (7)/Saboteur (0)
The empty Saboteur soul is just to get Adhesive Bomb, which is pretty much the best snare in the entire game, and you get it for a zero point investment in the soul. Additionally, at later levels you can get a hefty Dex bonus from the Saboteur soul's early abilities.
