I'm currently playing a Cleric. I have a healing spec and a DPS spec.. my dps spec is Shaman/Druid/Sentinel. I was wondering if a melee cleric should still be using the same stats on heals or should I be using melee stats like Dexterity and Strength?

u want spell power, spell crit, spell focus just like a caster...We clerics have a passive ability's in the melee tress.

For shaman it's called faith in action - Passive. Increases the Cleric's Attack Power by their Spell Power, their Physical Crit by their Spell Crit, and their Melee Hit by their Spell Focus.

but for lvling i like sham/justicar for the massive self healing while doing a dec amount of single/aoe dmg

The gear you get as a cleric contains the stats you need for all souls within your calling. All chain gear will have cleric stats like wisdom, intellgence, spell power, etc. "Cleric" weapons (2h maces, etc.) will typically be the same. The only time it might get a little confusing is for some weapons (especially 1h weapons), shields, and accessories but in those cases, you're still looking for the same stats you see on your chain armor...wisdom, intelligence, spell power, etc.
