You can get the rest of the souls, one at a time, from doing quests in Meridian/Sanctum starting at level 13.

But, as someone who's main IS a Riftblade/Paladin/Reaver, those three are definitely very solid soloing souls and together they can make you pretty hard to stop.

This is my current build at level 46: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0cALh.Vuoxz.vMotds0Gtzz.xb the next point goes into Small Arms Specialization and will give me the 10 minute full heal from Paladin. I run with a one-handed weapon and a shield (also scissors but that's a different issue) and I can solo most anything that can be kited. Also, crit and dex are the only stats that matter to a Riftblade, str is pretty meaningless, though you'll get some from your gear anyway.

I highly doubt that any build in the game can quest as fast as heavy champion. Thing with that though is it doesnt get good till about level 30.

my build at 45/46 (i forget where i am lul) http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=1ckuL.EA0zqR0Gudz.ic.Vro

Yeah I have a champion build as well, and while it certainly does way more damage than Riftblade, I found I was getting the crap kicked out of me a lot. The survivability boost of A: Having a shield and B: Using tanking souls is actually really significant.

Are you able to solo rift bosses or group quests as a champ? I haven't actually tried except as a Riftblade but it just doesn't seem like it would work

dont need survivability when you kill things that fast!

No i dont solo anything difficult, but it kills things soooooo freakin quick that it cant be beat for the normal questing. Could easily just switch to my reaver build for bosses though :P

Interesting, what kind of priority/rotation system are you using on Champ?

Always looking for better ways to do my job Smiley: smile

Hahaha..... oh man its kind of embarrassing how simple it is.

Ok so using that build this is how it works for standard questing. Just basic kill a bunch of sh*t quests.

Step 1: Buttons yo

#1 is this macro:

#show Bull Rush
cast [alt] Path of the Wind
cast Bull Rush
cast Path of the Wind

Macro of PWN

This is on my #2 button. yes all of it.

#show Path of the Wind
cast Frenzied Strike
cast Inescapable Fury
cast Turn the Blade
cast Bloodthirst
cast Rising Waterfall
cast Disruptive Strike
cast Path of the Wind

#3 is Debilitating Strike

#4 is my finisher macro

#show Punishing Blow
cast Deathblow
cast Punishing Blow

My standard rotation is to hit #2 until i get 3AP then hit number 4! You can throw in a Debilitating Strike to boost the finisher if you end up with less than 3 AP in your spammage. Note: i dont use charge while questing because i can hit twice with path of wind (thats in my macro of PWN btw so really all you have to do is hit #2 and 4) before reaching the target... thats 2 ap and it crits for over 600 on my guy, plus it boosts your Rising Waterfall crit chance. The synergy in this build is insane if you cant tell.

Step 2! BASH LULZ

Yeah dont save this ability for spell casts, i have mine mapped to a side button on my mouse and throw it in whenever i can. it doesnt use a GCD so toss it in there. ive had it crit for over 600... it is awesome and is fun to kill people by kicking them in the face.

Make sure you have a level appropriate, high avg damage 2H weapon and you are golden. Sadly this also works awesome in world PvP, just dont forget you have a charge lol.

If you getadds you have some GREAT options. You have Proper Timing in this build, which i havent addressed yet because you usually dont have time to use it or it would just be wasted overkill. It is without a doubt an insanely good talent. obv you get the crit, but you also guarantee a frenzied strike proc on top of it. its sick damage but i digress. When you get adds though i like to get my 3AP then do a Proper Timing Titan's Strike for around 1100 on the main target and 1300 on the adds. that usually finishes off the first, giving you Bloodthirst again for the second add. If you have more than that you can use mighty blow and bladefury etc...

edited macro 2

Now THAT is a spam macro... wow.

I basically had the same setup on mine except I broke melee spam stuff up between basic attack point building stuff and all the myriad of follow-up attacks, most of which came from Paragon because apparently that's what Paragons do... all the time.
