Its fun how the official Rift forums is full of people complaining about t2 dugeons.
Since i cant register due to an error i thought i post this here.

Tier 2 dungeons ARE NOT CHALLENGING!
Stop friggin complaining.

- My guild doesnt raid yet. starting somewhere late this month.
- The group was full of non raiding guildies.
- We did not have to CC
- We completed all the t2 dungeons.

How can something be to difficult if you can complete it without any raid gear and without any CC?
If you actualy get some gear on your *** it will be facerolling trough them for the most part.

More challenge please...kk tnx.
Actualy needing to CC because els you will get wooped would be a start.
Im also a big fan of didicated "pullers"

cheers

Because Raid gear is Tier 3? Why would you need gear from the content beyond your current level to complete content at your level?

T2 may be easy, but you apparently have no idea what makes something hard. Pressing the squirrel button and then pulling the rest isn't exactly rocket science.

Seems like you're getting carried by gear and team mates. I just don't see how you could be so clueless about what you're doing and still be a contributing member of the team.

CC is the "nice to do" thing, not the "need to do". If you've got a healer who is marginally geared for the content, CC in some situations is a smart thing to do.

Are you calling posters with over ten thousand posts (and a significantly higher karma score) more than you "trolls"? Smiley: rolleyes

Personally I can't comment on end-game dungeons - I've had too much to do while leveling to even hit 50. Achievements ftw Smiley: grin

I miss the days when I could log into my favorite MMO (which oddly wasn't my own, I could never play my own games) using just a telnet client and a terminal.

Skirting that last life with no royals to my name to toss in the fountain to buy more; knowing that if one more person asked me to wrestle the stupid crocodiles naked for a corpse retrieval I'd probably do it and greet death for the final time. The tap of his bony hand on my shoulder and his familiar words, "NOT YOU AGAIN".

That or being asked by nearly every single person in Ankh-Morpork for a free greater shield or a port to where ever the heck, or "hey, can you fumble the monk's staff for me". You'd think I would have given up support classes 20 years ago.

I could only stand to use telnet if I had no other choice.

Trash / non-boss mobs aren't meant to be hard... and yes, CC is still useful in these instances, though you are correct not absolutely necessary.

My question to you is, who did you think was trolling? I thought Al and Aurelius both brought up valid points.

Also, sounds to me that if you like dedicated pullers and camping rare mobs for 5 days for a drop, you should go back to FFXI :).

Not really sure how you were connecting to MMOs in the late 80s if you weren't using telnet. :)

Some people set up their dialins to directly connect you but it was still a basic telnet protocol under the hood.

Mmm.. probably because I was doing it in the mid-90s, I was like 8 years old in the late 80s Smiley: smile

And calling someone clueless would be a good start.
And i was reffering to allegory not to aurellious

You'd be right, but regardless of how insulting the comment may have been, but it wasn't inaccurate given the first post. You said you should need T3 gear to do T2 content; that's pretty clueless. You said forcing people to rpess their cc button to pull trash would be a skill increase; that's pretty clueless.

You are all to eager to defend that Rift is actualy difficult to master.

Once again, pretty darn clueless. I specifically said "T2 may be easy, but you apparently have no idea what makes something hard."

Pretty much no one here is saying Rift is oh-so-hard. My guess is that you felt like trolling--expected to get a lot of vehement, ignorant denials--and now you don't know what to do having not received those responses.
