Musing on trying to get as much burst as possible for asn, I decide to:

rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0McMb.xIzR0aoz.GARfz0boddo.xb0R0b

Asn 32 with Power Chord, the heal, cadence healing and specifically Riff so you can stealth attack->puncture->finisher->riff->finisher.

Mobility is kind of lowish and I hate missing adhesive bomb but you could potentially remove infiltrator. You'd lose the anti-caster stuff but it's not like anathema was taken (no way to get 21 for riff and 31 for slipaway and 15)

If you want a retarded burst build, try this.

ITS CRAZY I TELL YOU!

Riff > Virtuoso > Coda of Wrath spam.

This build with a high enough crit is pretty stupid how hard you hit people. 15 Codas of wrath in a row with anathema? GG no one lives through that. Only down part is it takes 3 minutes to do it lol.

I do that on invasions myself. It's pretty silly for dps but I hate being a 3 minute mage in PvP.

The spec is amazing for whitefall steppes when you go in as a group to break a turtle. Seeing as everyone almost always runs around in a huge cluster **** during a turtle the healers forget about the FC and my god it takes 0 to no time to waste him when they don't expect a bard to come in and cut some ********

Why don't you take coda of fury?

4 other 51 bards and I organized during an invasion rift boss battle and we all virtuosoed at the end and fury spammed almost all the guardians to death right as he went down. Glorious is pretty much the only word for it.

Another crack at Battle Bard:

rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0Micb.Vht0GoLo.EI0ooqsk0z.xb0M0z

Ebon Fury, plus the twilight movement reducer and virtuoso with heat retention.

Ok.. after playing too much black garden I decided on a new build:

rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0Mfpb.xMtoRd0z.EcxchqbRkz.xb

The basis is getting Defer Death (which is nutty annoying to people when its up) and marksman knockback with a lot of crit so I can teleport on those dang rocks and knock everyone off constantly.

Survival is above most of my builds. Mobility is huge, but it lacks slip away or any kind of stealth (which I find myself not needing in BG as much) but has memory capture which is really dang good in BG.

It has no stuns though; just rift prison. It has less burst so it's mainly built to tackle runners and force people to chase you around which is what BG seems to mostly be about anyways.

If I were to run battle bard I'd go with something like this.

Battle Bard

More focus on the damage output of NB with the ability to put up the 50% health debuff, and if sh*t gets crazy and you need mass heals you can always pump virtuoso into coda of restoration.

I'm doing this at the moment. Mind you I'm only 43 so some points aren't all the way in, but you get the drift.

Bard Runner

You have the ability to never ever get caught in a bad situation. 1 on 1 you have 2 different ccs to keep people locked up. You can throw an aoe snare and shift away. Run speed increase on shifting, plus the shield affect on shifting.

Cadence won't heal as much because you're missing out on the nightblade talents, but overall you can do some pretty good mitigation while you do what a bard does best. Completely negate dots lulz.

Edit: Also with this build you've got an oh **** button with 30% damage mitigation and you can also pop into guardian phase immediately following that for a pretty big endurance jump.
