I actually didn't know about the apparently secret cooldown for BoP for Paladin, which makes it kind of makes me sad since I started my build around BoP, Tip the Balance, and Impassable Guard.
Before I knew, I dumped tons of points into Pally for 44 points for IG, and the survivability was dencent. Since I found out, I re-spec'd with something pretty close to half and half for Pally/Reaver (I'm lvl 45 at the moment) with a bit into Warlord for armor boost.
I get some healing from the block activated abilities of Pally along with constant healing from Soul Sickness from Reaver and Creeping Death.
TBH, I'm loving this build a lot more than heavy Pally. I'm finding survivability for PVP much better and when I'm taking on 5-8 mobs in rifts. Also, I like to annoy the crap out of the Defiants when I Weakening Essence in Black Garden and follow around a group of them =].
What I'm worried about is whether or not this will be viable in dungeons. As of this moment, it looks like I'm the leading tank for my guild (we're very small and just starting out) and I do want to be able to handle dungeons well for my guild.
