If you use one of these trials, please quote the one that you used. This will make sure that multiple people don't try to use the same trial.

Ok... does anyone else see this as more than a little silly?

Each of these codes can be used infinity times.

There are, at the time of this posting, 19 such codes in this thread.

Therefore: 19 x Infinity trial accounts can be created and linked to them.

My suggestion here, is that if you'd like people to sign up with your code: stick it in your signature and become a part of the community here. If the idea is that your code should go to people who'd like to play with you, then GIVE them a reason to want to play with you. Right now this thread is mostly filled with random codes from people with single-digit post counts (and therefore, NOT active community members).

I'm all about growing the community here, and if each of the people in this thread who posted their recruitment code became an active community member, that'd be fantastic and you'd most likely just get people signing up because they like the way you think and want to play the game with you. As it presently stands though, this is a thread filled with people who want free stuff and see this as a way to grab for it.

That is exactly the reason why I updated my post with the regular 7 day trial as soon as it came out a day later. I only started this thread to help people be able to try the game. I could care less about the items you get.

I got 121 hits in 2 days. A few signed up and I got my mount. After I got my mount I deleted my post to give others a chance. It seems only fair to do it that way.

That is funny because I got only 15 people that signed up with mine and none bought the game. They must have thought it was a 1 times use and figured someone used it so went to the next one.

It'll be hilarious if the plat sellers are using all of those links to generate new accounts.

That's an interesting point actually... does anyone know what the restrictions are on a trial account?

Can you trade things? Does it just have some sort of permanent version of coin lock on it until you pay for the game?

1. CANNOT pass level 15.
2. CAN receive trades but CANNOT start them.
3. CANNOT send tells unless the person has you on their friends list.

Those ones I know of offhand. My hubby was able to go into his mailbox but didn't try to send any (nor did he have any to receive). I think I'll have him try that later today, he still has a day or two of trial left. :)

edit: more restrictions:

4. CANNOT have more than 2 characters. (it may be 2 chars/shard, not sure about that)
5. CANNOT send mail but CAN receive mail.
6. CAN join guilds and groups, whether or not you're on the person's friends list.

.. he's coming to the city now to see what banker/auctioneer usage is like. :)

edit: more stuff!

7. CAN use banker unrestricted. (not shocking there)
8. CAN buy items from the auction house but CANNOT create new auctions.
