I'm a bit sad at the fact I lost out on an epic tank bow yesterday when I was doing X-AP for the first time. Just down the first boss, saw the bow and started to get all cheerful inside when a Rogue rolled on it and said "That would go well with my tank set." he won the bow and I was furious. Slammed my fingers on the keyboard into gibberish and preceded to question his ability to read. He claimed the block helped him and the group and myself pointed out Rogue's block with their face not their shields. Then when he realized his mistake all he says is, "Ooops" which made me furious. Trion doesn't even have a system in place to trade BoP items within a time frame so I lost out on a very major upgrade for me since I'm using a crafted tank gun from level 42 in T2's. But needless to say I wish Trion would let us trade the item to the person who actually needed it. I just hate that when Rogue's see a bow they immediately roll need on it, same goes for warriors who see a rogue item, but hey they can use it too. It's just Trion needs to let people trade it to someone who actually benefits the most from it. Instead at the current moment it's "Better luck next time?" which is gonna really suck if I am running as DPS on my warrior or another warrior needs it for his tanking off-spec.

That does suck, but unfortunately all you can do is /ignore him and move on. You'll be running that instance a hundred times anyway, so don't worry about it too much.

If its any consolation he probably wouldn't have given it back if the mechanism did exist. It was a fairly recent addition to WoW as - I think - a way to avoid incessant service tickets asking to move gear around.

Maybe it'll come to Rift for the same reason but even where it did exist the number of people who would hearth out far outnumbered the ones who'd say "you're right - its better for you. Here you go"

This is one of many reasons I prefer to Guild run Expert for now (while I still NEED the gear) instead of pugging, because lets face it there's a TON of derps and asshats out there that just don't care about your gaming experience.

Well this was a guildie I might've mentioned this had I not been so furious still. But yeah I'll be running it into the ground, but still it just infuriates me that someone sees epic item, they can use it, and roll on it even if it doesn't purtain to them. Just cause I see cleric gear doesn't mean I role on it cause Warriors can wear chain. But still if it were a pug yeah I'd probably be even more mad.
