Newbie - What's the class desired in GroupsFollow

So I'm about to start a character here tomorrow, and I'm looking at a couple options but I have one big issue in my head -> I really don't want to sit LFG for a long time when I want to do a dungeon. SO, I'm just wondering which class (or role) is usually waited on the longest (healer? Tank? Support? I assume there are lots of DPS running around but I could be wrong).

Please don't start it into a flame war. And I won't have time for raiding, so throw that out of the picture. PvP is unimportant to me. Just what class/role is usually the one waited on or gets the groups fastest? Also, if you say support is waited on give me a brief idea of what class/build is meant.\

I want to be able to solo level, but do dungeons for some new adventure and loot, and not wait around forever for the group.

Thanks for the help!

this is really a 2 part question whether you realize it or not.

What role would get me the fasts dungeons?
What calling would get best chances at loot?

first off i'll warn you that pre lvl 30 quests are probably the fastest way to lvl... and most builds really dont start taking off till around 30

But anyways... i have 1 toon in the 30s, a 37 cleric that can actually do every role, so i dont que very long. BUT clerics are very popular so loot is scarce cause im usually roling against 2 or even 3 other people.
I also have 1 toon in the 40s, 49 warrior that i've been working on. He has mostly tanking gear but can still dps nice.

Both toons dont see very long wait times, and in my experiance (good) tanks, (decent) healers, and support are all at time scarce.

Now in my experiance Clerics and Mages are pretty popular on my shard (Defiant side of Deepwood) with ocasionally seeing a warrior from time to time in groups.
Many people already have lvled rogues up, so rogues would be a good one to lvl because they can supply both a support and a tank role... so make sure around lvl 30 to have good set ups for both and for dps and you should cut que times down.

In addition i will make this note: IF you are designated support, run a support spec, unless told otherwise.
Rogues > Bard
Mages > Archon/Chloro
Clerics > Justicar (yes this is actually considered support when you run with mein of honor)
Mages, while chloro is a nice support tree, please consider running an archon set up if your support. The archon tree supplies similar buffs as the bard does, and really can increase party dps and speed.

Pretty much, use your multiple roles to fill as many of the different slots as necessary. I'm a cleric and can fill any of the four (DPS, Heals, Support, Tank). Rogue and Mage and Warrior all have the second best versatility with 3 (Rogue support tank and DPS, Mage heals dps support, Warrior tank support dps).

Just be versatile and the groups will come to you. And as far as I can tell, use Rogue and you will get the best loots.

Loot tables are pretty evenly distributed. And as others have said, you can have multiple roles available to you so that's not really an issue either. Just play what appeals to you the most and you can have multiple specs to get the groups faster if that's what you want.
