New Warefront - Library of the RunemastersFollow

This place is extremely fun. You get a ap/sp buff right off the teleporter so it can not be camped which is a plus. It has multiple objectives, sot the teams have to coordinate and not just zerg.

There is no fall damage so you can move around without dying to stupid stuff. Overall = FUN!

thx for the vid.

looks to me like another big mess zergfest. so much zerg in warfronts, 90% of the time i can't even tell you what killed me.

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm making a number of tweaks to the map for the next playtest based on today.

1. I'm adding additional line of sight blockers around the middle area. Its simply too open here.

2. I've removed "bonus points for holding in the center". I know this sounds a bit crazy, but I'm going have us test it without that mechanic and see how things go. I think it may lead to some additional tactical play (so its not just one ball of murder in the center of the map especially when one side is dominating).

3. Increasing points gained by holding relics slightly.

4. Reduce the rate of damage taken from relics.

I'm playing with the following ideas:

Possibly causing relic holders to cause additional damage to other relic holders that are on the same team. I want to encourage people to spread out.

Possibly causing relic holders to cause additional damage to /any/ members on the same team.

Possibly removing the buff for teleporting / changing the buff for teleporting.


Things I probably will not do:

I will likely not make this a 20 on 20 map. I have some framerate concerns, and I think that it would simply be to many folks in one location at a time.

oh sweet. its not a finished product by any means. i could give design ideas all day long.

first and foremost, dont make an objective kill you or debuff you.

If they did that, some cleric opponents that come to mind would just NEVER die.
