I went to upload my logs after today's play session, having finally gotten into the flow of mashing /loc after using any and every object, only to find that the upload page no longer has instructions for uploading the Log.txt and that uploading it produces no output. Was it no longer worth the bandwidth to upload them because of the large number of forgotten /locs or something else entirely?

Isn't that neat? Yesterday's patch added artifacts and harvests to the discovery log so we no longer have to hack up a parse for it. Acprog was all over it and now you just need to have your discovery log on and let 'er rip! Upload instructions are here if you're new to uploading your data at ZAM.

Every time I look at the forum page and my eyes glance over this thread, I read the title as "No more logout"

It makes me double-take EVERY SINGLE TIME

Yeah, we were jazzed too :) Be sure to tell your friends about our discovery log parser, because the more samples we have the better our drop information will be!

I'm trying to get my guild leader to put it in the motd, but he's got it completely filled atm.

For the artifact's locations, the Discoverylog thing works with other language than english ?

In french, the log file never worked, probably because of artifact's names not translated, and I switched my game to english for that.

Zach, thx o/

HM, the discovery log used an ID number for artifacts, but I'd have to ask a developer.

It currently works only in English. We never really made it to work on other locales because we never launched or finished the localized version of rift.zam.com
