Ok this is my tank build tired of people telling me to use reaver..for one.. their is too mch sh*t to do for rever.. to much going on and the debuffs on the mobs is good but when your tanking 10-15 + mobs. then its stupid... also im sick of hearing.. i found my build online so its better than yours. so here is mine now you can change the points from gracefull under pressure and put them into steely reserve or small arms what ever you want. now keep the points 28 pally and 38 wl. if you dont believeme. make the build then do mdd 2 times for the first pull and see damage taken parsefor your tank build and mine and see which is higher.

reaver is good but for mitigation and surviveability.. no.. and aoe aggro its for noobs.
here is my macro...

cast Sweeping Strike
cast Promise of Steel
cast Disarming Counterblow
cast Retaliation
cast Aggressive Block
cast Empowering Strike

buffs:
aspect of the elements(hwen a bard is in the party use aspect of a fallen hero)
shield of the chosen
battlefield awarness
aegis of salvation
void

your mitigation is always their. and entrench is another 11% mitigation. need anymore help let me know im on deepstrike. rest of the build is self explanatory skillwise

ohh also dont use that bs damage reduc skill in reaver 35% reduc for 10 seconds.. when a real fight lasts for way more than 10 seconds so that skill is worthless..... and my build has a 4k heal and a full life heal.. also all the resistences so when your stacking essences that are **** im still running great ones and probably still have more resistence than you do with the mitigation that is always their.

^ The 1.6 bible.

I use Paladin over Warlord. Reaver has always been my favorite. It is basically Blook DK tanking from WoW with Paladin sprinkled in.

There are roughly 11 tanking builds in 1.6 that are pretty **** good. If you min/max the above is the what you want, but is not perfect for every fight.

i understand that people have their fav specs and builds. if you do the numbers this build has more mitigation that any other build yoiu can throw together.. and when i do take damage i have a 6% increase to healing not inc the calls and commands i can throw up. if needed. and my heals. a good tank doesnt need to glitch the reaver build to have to stay alive. so before someone else posts about reaver. ive tried them all and the mitigation isnt always their.. 4% below 33% life. i dont need that i have 6% increase healing all the time. . and if you drop below that once.. then your healers cant keep up. so you will drop that low again. pointless.you have soulsickness i have tip the balance. not as much but even if its a caster in melee range you will block everyauto attack they throw. and heal during crits. ..... so critique my build dont trell me to try a reaver build i already have......

I included the word like for a reason. The Reaver soul is just fun to play. Your tank build looks pretty tight. I would run it by the forum gods on the Rift warrior forums just to see what you get.

Nothing says these guys are the overlords and catch all soul builders. A new soul build is always welcome and just expands on the Rift soul system

This is a pretty good setup if you ask me. To many people put math into rift builds, but whatever happened to just having fun? So what if a build has 1% less defense than someone else? I'd rather lose a little and have more fun any day.

same macro as the first one also

let me know if you like this one hehe. i find it to be fun your either blocking/dodging/parrying everything but dots and then you have the resistences so they hit you like pillows rofl
