This is a two-man Chronicles zone that was introduced with Rift Patch 1.5.
House Aelfwar has managed to breach the prison containing their Blood Storm god Greenscale. Shyla of the Guardians and Dacia of the Defiants have heedlessly rushed ahead in pursuit of personal demons, and you are sent on their heels to see that their actions do not unwittingly release Greenscale.
Throughout this instance you will encounter mobs with wisps attached. The wisps are never a good thing. Some heal their master, while others attack you. It is always a good idea to kill them first.
This zone is a classic hedge-maze. There are three "sections", if you will. The right-hand and left-hand sides are loops that will eventually bring you back to where you started. Through the inner gate and ahead to a path on the left leads eventually to the back and Prince Hylas. There is a bonus chest, and an achievement for finding it (A-Maze-ing), if you go to the left wall from where you fought Johlen, then left along the wall to the chest. It does not appear every run.
A reward chest will also appear nearby wherever you drop the third Lieutenant, depending on which order you take them in.
This guy drops explosive kegs. Just drag him around every time one drops. The fuse is quite long but you need to be out of the circle-dome before it ignites.
Sometimes, after Johlen is dead, if you go back towards the entrance you will find the rare mob, Blightbeard, standing in the previously empty area just in and to the left from the middle inner entrance. As the word "rare" implies, he does not appear in the zone every time. Killing him awards the achievement, Timber.
There are two Aelfwar Defenders with her. When she is smacked she becomes invulnerable and freezes in place. The guards step forward and transform into werewolves. They need to be killed as close to simultaneously as possible because she is buffing them as they fight. If one is burned down first the other gets the full benefit of her buffs and becomes very hard to kill.
When both are down she will transform and attack. From time to time she summons wisps that heal her and attack you. They are weak but she just keeps calling them. Do not focus on the orbs. Burn her as fast as you can and use as much AE damage as you have to control the wisps.
End of the Maze - Observe the scene between Shyla Starhearth and Prince Hylas. She will call Atrophinius and offer him a new deal. He agrees and helps you defeat Hylas. Hylas will use his Wrath periodically, and at least once he will bunny-fy everyone while he heals himself. At the end of the fight, Dacia Ultan shows up to contest with Shyla for the spoils, but Atrophinius calms them by turning their attentions to Greenscale.
Greenscale's Prison - Defeat the three Eternal Imprisoners to release Lord Greenscale, then kill him. He has a tail swipe so tank should turn him while all others stay to the side to avoid the tail swipe. He also summons poisonous Strangle Plants. They can be attacked if you have enough ranged DPS, or just move away from them to avoid the poison gasses they emit.
